Course description

The course will examine the concepts of Crew Resource Management (CRM) currently practiced in airlines organizations. CRM training is important to prevent and/or manage flight crew errors, maintaining continuity in flight crew performance of duties, and working as a team to ensure flight safety. The role of crew supervision and training, leadership styles, and management oversight will be studied.

What will i learn?

  • Classify resources in CRM training that relates to major causes of aircraft accidents and evolution of CRM. (C1, PLO5)
  • Carry out communication skill, teamwork skill and leadership skill in CRM training. (C3, PLO5)
  • Analyze the concepts of making good decisions and optimally managing workloads. (C4, PL07)
  • Analyze the situational awareness and management of stress / fatigue in order to avoid aircraft accidents. (C4, PLO1)
